PAST RESIDENCE: OD was born at Tarzana Regional Hospital in Tarzana, California, and lived in Encino, California for two years, before he and his family moved to Palmdale, California, where he lived until he was 16 years old. Palmdale is one hour’s drive north of Los Angeles in California’s High Desert. The area is called The Antelope Valley, but is frequently referred to as “Aerospace Valley” because it is the home of Edwards Air Force Base and the Space Shuttle.

CURRENT RESIDENCE: OD currently resides in Augusta, Georgia, where he has lived since August, 2003.
FAMILY: OD’s father, Barry Kaye, is a Vice President/General Manager for Clear Channel Radio. Mr. Kaye is a former MCA Records recording artist and taught songwriting at UCLA Extension for 11 years. He produced 4 Contemporary Christian albums in the 1980’s, and one song he produced received a Grammy nomination in 1985. OD’s mother, Kelly Bowers Kaye, is a former ballerina for the Augusta Ballet in Georgia and received a scholarship to dance for the Joffrey Ballet in New York City. OD has a younger sister, Hillary, and a younger brother, Mason.

MUSIC & EARLY CAREER: OD has always loved rap music. At the age of 11, OD began free styling. But it was not until he moved to Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 16, that he began to take his music and lyric writing seriously. His talent became apparent. He began recording at Dark Corner Productions with producer Sean “Cleezy” Clyde. He began performing at local clubs in the Augusta, Georgia – Aiken, South Carolina area, working with Mastermind Productions. OD recorded some tracks with local rapper Da Professa, and traveled to Miami, Florida, where he recorded some reggaeton tracks with producer Zemroy. He has also worked with 2 Atlanta-based producers, S-Class, and Isaac Hayes, Jr.

RECENT CAREER: OD is currently being managed by veteran rap and hip hop Artist Manager Gary Ballen, based in Los Angeles, California. Ballen also manages producer/songwriter Damon Elliott (who has worked with Pink, Eminem, Beyonce, and others) and rapper JR Ewng (best known for his song “Time to Get Dirty” from EA Sports’ Madden 2005 video game). OD has written lyrics for some of Damon Elliott’s beats, and recorded several tracks with JR Ewng. On April 7, 2006, “OD featuring JR Ewng” will perform as the opening act for Dem Franchise Boyz at an outdoor concert in Augusta, Georgia, during the week of the Masters Golf Tournament. OD and JR are planning a tour of several southeastern states for the Summer of 2006.
